WITCHCULT is a Danish black metal group originally concieved in 2014 by Besat, Spedalsk and Benedictus on guitars, vocals
and drums respectively.
The music is a blasphemous unity of the violent and the vicious, the sinister and the sepulchral. It was concieved to reflect the liturgical format of the lyrics, devoted to Satan and the way of the witch, each a cantata in a sacrament in his name.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too.

Tout est une question de perspective. En regardant la pochette d'Algleymi, on se dira : "c'est un constat d'échec de l'humanité face aux puissances cosmiques". Mais le gigantisme de cette silhouette est un signe que Misþyrming veut plutôt s'emparer de cette puissance et le black metal le confirmera très vite. Il est plus maîtrisé, massif et épique. Si le chant est déjà impressionnant, dégageant plus de haine, les guitares sont de leur côté absolument monumentales. Un chef-d'œuvre du genre !
